 Topic:  Build A World Wide Web (WWW) Page

 This month, we'll take a look at some interesting Web pages from
 around the 'Net and cover basic HTML, the Hypertext Markup Language
 which is used to create WWW pages -- simple or complex. This
 presentation will cover the elements required to create a simple WWW
 page. Novices will be introduced to WWW features; more advanced users
 will learn the basic mechanics involved in creating one's own page.
 
 As an example, the new OSIS' WWW "home" page (courtesy of IDS) will
 be on display. Comments and suggestions are welcomed.
 
 Speaker:
 
 Angela E. Taylor is a senior library technician at the RI Department
 of State Library Services, and is associated with a local firm
 specializing in Internet and online services. A founding member of the
 Ocean State Internet Society, Angela has been an Internet enthusiast
 for over 10 years.
 
 
 We will conduct online Free-Net registrations (after 8 pm). Come at
 6:30 pm if you have questions or want to offer your expertise to new
 users; the regular program begins at 7 pm.
