The IMSL 10 database in SPIRES is a collection of descriptions of the
almost 1000 mathematical and statistical subroutines available under IMSL.
 
Through gopher, you can search this database using:
 
   NAME      - the name(s) of subroutines
   PRECISION - single or double precision
   PURPOSE   - word or words describing the subroutine
   COMPOUND  - index(s) and value(s)
 
You may save the information to your disk by pressing PF5; a filename
and filetype will be created from the data's record number.  Or you
may Xedit the file (PF11) and type FILE filename filetype <filemode>.
