MuEVD is an external video driver for the ShapeShifter that makes use of the
mmu.library to speed up display generation. It supports all MMU types,
starting at the 68020/68851 up to the 68060, and all graphic boards, including
1,2, and 4 bit modes for ECS, and 8 bit and 15 bit "HAM8" emulation for AGA.
It supports all graphic modes from chunky to truecolor for P96 and CGfx, and
it supports an MMU controlled "waterproof" direct access mode for P96 and
Mac native pixel formats.

MuEVD replaces various other video drivers using MMU "hacks" to provide the
same features, all in one.

This tool is part of the MMULib distribution. To find out more about the

Quick installation notes:

	- Copy LIBS/mmu.library to LIBS:
	- Copy "MuTools/MuEVD" to the "ShapeShifter/Video Drivers"
	  directory.
	- Disable the "REMAP8K" tooltype of ShapeShifter.
	- Make sure the "ROM write protection" of ShapeShifter is
	  turned off.
	- Make sure you don't run the ppc.library, or MMU hacks.
	- Don't use the "Largest Free Block" memory setting for the
	  ShapeShifter or no memory will be left for MuEVD.
	- Study the "MuEVD.guide" to find out how it works.

and "MuEVD". The "Program", below, refers to such program. The "Archive" 
refers to the package of distribution, as prepared by the author of the 
Program, Thomas Richter. Each licensee is addressed as "you".



The Program and the data in the archive are freely distributable
under the restrictions stated below, but are also Copyright (c)
Thomas Richter.

Distribution of the Program, the Archive and the data in the Archive by a
commercial organization without written permission from the author to any
third party is prohibited if any payment is made in connection with such
distribution, whether directly (as in payment for a copy of the Program) or
indirectly (as in payment for some service related to the Program, or
payment for some product or service that includes a copy of the Program
"without charge"; these are only examples, and not an exhaustive enumeration
