Binkd (Binkley daemon) is a next generation Fidonet mailer designed exclusively 
to operate via TCP/IP networks. As a FTN-compatible internet daemon, it makes 
possible efficient utilization of TCP/IP protocol suite as a transport layer in
FTN-based (Fido Technology Network) networks.
Binkd is being developed and distributed under the terms of GNU public license.
In short, it's freeware and it's sources are freely available. Development team 
is lead by Dima Maloff (2:5047/13), maloff@tts.magadan.ru.
