That one made me flash back to my nursing school days.  My patient is almost 
hysterical because she has symptoms of postpartum phlebitis, it's only my 
second day on a ward.  The doctor draws blood, hands me the vial and, 
because my instructor is not around,  I go ask the nurse at the desk what to 
do.  Her reply: "Send it to the Lab, they're waiting for it."  So a 
messenger takes it to the lab -- of course they refuse to do anything with 
it since it's not labelled.  Patient is upset ++++, doctor is pissed +++, 
I'm in the washroom at the nursing station when I hear the doctor yelling 
"Where is that stuuuupid nurse?"  I walk out of the washroom and proceed to 
endure a tongue lashing that I'll never forget.  The poor nurse I'd 
approached, seeing my face, did say "I just told her to send it to the lab, 
I saw it wasn't labelled and didn't say anything."  But really, I should 
have known better.
