When using ssh you shouldn't be using xhost _at all_ as the remote display should be going to a local port on the remote machine, going through ssh, and then appearing on a local port on the machine in front of you. Google for 'ssh X forwarding' and have a read, it should be as easy as 'ssh -X' as you have found between your 'R' and 'F' boxes. > What am I doing wrong.
