Well, I only give negative/demeaning replies when someone else posts something negative or offensive in the first place. Read the first two posts in this thread by this guy who started it (Bubblewrap), they started off on a pretty negative tone. (Clearly you thought this guy was being negative/rude too, judging from your first reply in the thread!) I don't just randomly post flames or negative things to people... I only do it in response to posts that seem blatantly offensive, insulting, and outright incorrect in the first place :P >Kindof a "goto hell you moron" approach, as opposed to >"you are wrong and this is why". For example, instead of saying "this is how >things are, and if you can prove me wrong, feel free to list examples" he'll >say "you obviously don't know what you are talking about". Quite the contrary, every time he posted something that I disagreed with, I countered with actual examples... in response to his very generalized posts about how he thinks most doorgame authors are trying to rip him off. I *have* repeatedly said things along the line of "if you can prove me wrong, feel free to list examples"... he posted some examples of LORD and TW not getting new features, and I posted a reply about how LORD and TW *did* get new features... I think it's a reasonable discussion, as opposed to a "goto hell you moron" flame war :P .
