There is comip, but unless you can find a "cracked" version, it REALLY expensive because the author cators to mostly busineses and really doesn't really care about Sysops. Netmodem works however when I used to run it, it was very unstable and you practically had to babysit the PC because it crashed so much. Netmodem was pay software however I heard somewhere that it will be going open source soon (altho I don't know when or if it already has) so at that point it will be free, plus -- hopefully a third party will fix some of the bugs. You can also use Synchronet as a telnet frontend -- i've seen people do this for Renegade BBS Software. I've also seen GameServ used this way also. My suggestion would be to use Synchronet (http://www.synchro.net) ... you can make it look like anything you want, and it supports multipul themes. So you can have one menu set in English, and another in Italian, to cator to both English and Italian speaking users. I'd suggest modifying the "Renegade" theme in Synch because it is the easiest to follow.
