And what version of Watcom did you use? From memory, when I built my version it would crash when calling any of the functions in MSGAPINT.DLL, but I think the problem was that I was using the original DLL from Maximus 3.0 (1995-12-30) and not a newly made version, and presumably there were calling convention differences that didn't show up until runtime for some bizarre reason. Anyway, maybe you can release a version for Marc Lewis with an option to disable dupe detection altogether (unless that option is already there but undocumented).
