Subj : Well, then! To : Sean Dennis From : Dieter Ringhofer Date : Sun Apr 21 2002 05:32 am Hi Sean! April 20 2002, Sean Dennis to Gord Hannah: GH>> ROUTE Hold 1:17/23.1 1:ALL 2:ALL 3:ALL 4:ALL 5:ALL 6:ALL GH>> SEND normal world GH>> SEND Hold 1:17/23 SD> Well, my ROUTE.CFG is much bigger. I have this for my routing for my SD> Fidonet uplink: SD> Route Hold 1:2410/400 1:All 2:All 3:All 4:All 5:All 6:All SD> ... so, to feed my point, I could do: SD> Route Hold 1:2410/400 1:All 2:All 3:All 4:All 5:All 6:All SD> Route Hold 1:11/200.11 1:All 2:All 3:All 4:All 5:All 6:All SD> ... something like that? I like to recommend ;++ snip ++ route normal file 1:11/200.11 1:11/200.11 ; point is fetching mail for himself? ; put in on "hold" or use "direct" instead send hold file 1:11/200.11 ; only one feeding system which gets all the rest route normal 1:2410/400.0 1:All 2:All 3:All 4:All 5:All 6:All ; mail has to be send to feed? set to "direct" to have no need for ; further action to change flavour send direct 1:2410/400 ;++ snap ++ Watch sequence in route.cfg, Squish works from top to bottom, first match wins! Means: "Small" routing first (i.e. single systems, small groups of systems, ...), global routing last (at bottom). Don't leave anything with "normal" flavour in your outbound, it can be caught by a command somewhere in route.cfg. Sequence used by you above is the way to not to route anything to your point because everything is taken by first statement (1:11/200.11 matches 1:ALL). To enable file routing (being mentioned above with keyword "file") you must activate some keywords in squish.cfg: ForwardFromFile and ForwardToFile. ForwardFromFile ForwardToFile 1:11/200.11 (or more systems, more global statements) GH>> Address 1:17/23.1 SD> Do I add his address to my main address config at the top of SQUISH.CFG? You only add addresses with Address statement to your squish.cfg when they are valid for your own system. When you want to have your system believe to be .1 as well as .0 you should add it. GH>> BinkPoint SD> Got that set up...
