Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Thu Feb 17 2005 06:14 pm Content-type: text/plain Not a good day in the market. Today Greenspan testified to the House, but he didn't change his mind overnight. Prices were indecisive for about a half hour, then the bottom fell out, staying flat through mid-day, then giving away more when the Street houses squared their books at the close. Volume climbed a bit, up to +2% above average. What I see is the Oscillator dropping into negative territory and the trend resuming its negative bias. That could presage more to come. I wouldn't be giving any slipping stock any benefit of doubt--I'd take the money and run. Price Vola- Momen- Volume Oscil- Summ. If I did though, well, I might use something like this. (Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)
