Subj : Market Action To : All From : Paul Rogers Date : Thu Mar 04 2004 05:08 pm
Prices once again approached resistance levels, but volume showed no
enthusiasm, -16% below average. Of course it's an average which was
pulled higher in January by all the activity, and is falling back to
current levels. Still, there is no evidence of Bullishness in what I
can see.
I wouldn't be bailing out of good positions with significant profits,
but I might take some of those profits. I'd sell a third or a half.
Considering the past few years, that would feel good. I wouldn't be
taking any risks with positions that could easily turn against me.
Either way, if I wanted to take profits or cut my losses, I'd need
somebody to BUY my stock. I'm not seeing evidence there are eager
buyers these days.

Timing Signals: I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch. If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!! It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)
Last Signal: BUY Date: 11/24/03 S&P: 1052
