Friday I mentioned M&A, merger and acquisition, ativity which we haven't
seen much of letely.  And just today BofA announced a merger with Fleet
Boston, and one was announced for Health South.  BofA was recommended on
Wall Street Week in the last week or two.  Well, Fleet Boston isn't seen
as the prettiest puppy in the litter and investors sold off BofA.
Surprize!

By the end of the week the FYE mutual fund selling will be over.  They
probably won't all wait for the last moment.  And we can't be sure how
much they still have to unload or reload, after the Bear Market in the
first half of their fiscal year and the bounce-back rally in the second
half.  But you should recognize the importance of this time of year.
When you can get a picture of what the big-money pro's like or dislike,
you should at least gather the information.  And if they "tell" you they
don't like your stock, DON'T ARGUE.

By the way, don't be surprized if my Timing Signal pops a Sell signal
this week.  This market has been sliding.

Timing Signals:  I don't use or recommend timing signals, but they're
fun to watch.  If I did though, well, I might use something like this.
(Be warned!!  It tends to whipsaw around signal points!)
