   The other day I overheard some people arguing over a topic which seems to
be very popular these days: the Olympics.  The point they were arguing was:
Is it worth it to train so rigorously, to dedicate years of your life, in
order to go the Olympics and try for a medal?  Or is it a waste of your time?
   These people were getting quite passionate on this subject, and so I just
thought I'd put the argument out here, and see what all you have to say to it.
   I look forward to hearing your opinions.
