Hi everyone! I haven't posted on this echo for a good four years now,
and it's great to see it's still around, and that it still has some of
the old posters -- Michelle, Scott, the occasional Yoon...

Too bad things are falling apart now. This echo was always a lot more
fun than rec.games.frp.dnd. Somehow, lacking that "To" line takes away
a lot of the community feeling.

I'm still hosting the Great Fidonet Compendium, and The Coming of the
Zioth is still going strong. Of the original FidoNet players, the only
ones left are Karl Schinke and Alex Corbin, but two of the five dropped
out while the game was still over FidoNet. The only player we really
lost was Shaun Sides. Oh well. :(

You can still read the game turns (we're up to 42 now) on my web site,
at www.zioth.com/zioth, and the Compendium's still available at
www.zioth.com/roleplay.

It's great to see that BBSs and FidoNet aren't quite dead yet. I'll
probably drop in every couple of weeks to see what's happening. If
