All,

After more than 15 years of service, Conch will shut down at midnight CT on 
7/1/01. Fidonet has died a quiet death here in Houston, a victim of the very 
Information Age it helped usher in. I want to heartily thank everyone who 
helped and supported this system. I feel it has given a meaningful service in 
return.
