Long story short: A friend of mine asked me to help him install Windows on his new system. He had a Windows98 CD and a Windows98 bootdisk. As it turns out, there's a nasty bug in the Windows98 fdisk which creates broken partition tables in some cases. It happened to us. I couldn't enter fdisk again after fdisk broke the partition table. Thanks to your post, I just booted my OS/2 disks and ran "fdisk /delete:all /disk:1". Voil ! I could access the HD again! --- timEd/2 1.10.y2k * Origin: Usch, det finns. (2:205/323) .
