Good catch.  Problem is, GL seekms to have lost any loyalty to the Star 
Wars milieu long ago.  It's a huge cash cow and that is all.  If market 
research or past experience showed that a cutsey kid and a smart talkin' 
rasta would increase income, they gor stuck in there, and we got the young 
Anakin (whose head reminded me of a ball, and made me constantly want tot 
ake a bat and SMASH it) and Jah-Jah (who made me want to look for 
something heavier than a bat).

From what I hear, there are LOTS of concepts that Newborn cannot possibly 
understand.

Yeah, but that wouldn't have been as quick and easy as having her drop 
dead early.  And someone who would introduce "midichlorians" or WTF other 
elitism, so ruining the beautifully egalitarian nature of The Force, 
obviously wouldn't stop at a small discrepancy like that!
