We are recommending that you make sure your -> system CC> is set in the "mm/dd/yyyy" format instead of the -> "mm/dd/yy" format so -> My choice is to use yyyy/mm/dd, so their can't be any mistake between -> 02/01/2000 and 01/02/2000. Feb, 1st or Jan 2nd? For USA base reader -> no doudt, but, with other part of the world can have hard time -> with US date format. This is so true, and that is where you have to make sure that your software is reading the configurations (either in windows to check the users format specified) or in the BIOS settings from the PC.. This takes a little work to do, but it saves your application from "choking" when being used Internationally, been there .. I had an application I wrote a long time ago and I automatically "assumed" date format to be mm/dd/yy or mm/dd/yyyy .. A user was trying to use it in Europe and he had his system set to dd/mm/yy and my system got everything right except for switching the month & day .... embarrassing enough, I figured it out and fixed it .. but have to make sure we think of EVERY possibility when considering dates!
