This directory contains various documents relating to Ethernet.

Files with .txt extensions are ASCII text files. PostScript versions
of these files have .ps extensions.  The PostScript versions are
recommended.

The list of documents in the directory include:

ethernet-config.ps		A 12 page guide to the IEEE guidelines
				for configuring Ethernet systems.  Includes
				both the rule-based guidelines and the 
				calculation method.

ethernet-faq.pt1		The Ethernet frequently asked questions (faq) 
ethernet-faq.pt2		list as posted to the Usenet.

ethernet-guide.ps		An 18 page introduction to the 
				Ethernet system and media types.  Includes
				the rule-based configuration guidelines.

ethernet-numbers.txt		A list of useful troubleshooting numbers.
