ICC notes on Zterm for UCSD unix use: This version of Zterm has been set up to allow easier access to the UCSD ICC systems. There are four dialing directory entries for the four terminal lan numbers generally used for accessing the instructional (ICC) systems. In addition the macros have been modified so that commonly needed commands in this environment are at hand. These include the command to the terminal lan to allow transparent access to 8-bit binary data with the command "set binary on", accessed by the command 9 pair of keys. Other macros are: command 1 = resume 1 command 2 = get sdcc13 command 3 = control C command 5 = get issci1 command 6 = stty -tabs As these are commonly needed commands to resume a connection after it has been gotten from a "get" request, to get a connection when available either by system name (eg. get issci1), or "internal" name, (eg. get sdcc13). the stty -tabs forces BSD unix systems to use spaces rather than tabs which may be mis-understood and disrupt screen formatting.
