This is mainly a place-holder file to help divide up the long list of
whois-server site names....

The NET domain includes organizations based throughout the world.
RFC 1032 had this to say about these domain names:

      "NET" was introduced as a parent domain for various network-type
      organizations.  Organizations that belong within this top-level
      domain are generic or network-specific, such as network service
      centers and consortia.  "NET" also encompasses network
      management-related organizations, such as information centers and
      operations centers.

The site names are organized alphabetically by the domain name of the
whois-server machine, considering the labels (the individual
components of the name, separated by dots) in reverse order. For
example, FOO.AAAA.NET, BAR.AAAB.NET, BAZ.AAAB.NET, etc.

Notes: the whois.internic.net server at Network Solutions, Inc. holds
information about organizations on the network throughout the world,
although coverage outside the United States is complete only for
top-level country domains. See RFC 1400 for additional details about
this server.

The ds.internic.net server at Network Solutions, Inc. holds a portion
of the data formerly available on whois.nic.ddn.mil, specifically,
records for persons who are neither affiliated with MILNET sites, nor
a Point of Contact (POC) for a non-MILNET network or domain.

The Reseaux IP Europeens server, whois.ripe.net, has information about
organizations on the network in Europe. If your site has the WAIS
software installed, you might want to use RIPE's WAIS service instead
of the whois service. The database name is "ripe-database", located on
wais.ripe.net, TCP port 210.
