Review of Homework

 Maria & Brenda - give presentation to Kiwanis and county Commission.

  Still coming up in the future.

 Maria - send Jay info for pre/post test for presentation.

  Done.  Pre/posttest already finished and used with the presentation at the MCCH Council.

Report of Presentation to MCCH Council

 The presentation was a bit disorganized and went longer than expected.  There was an increase in knowledge from the pre/post test.  Suggestions:  change the order of some slides; put in sources; find and get Quay County costs of teen pregnancy.

 The script sounds like a grant proposal!!

 Should this be a team presentation?  Maria is the principal person here and she needs to pick her partner.  Alida suggests rescheduling the Commission presentation to the 26th to give more time to work on it.

 Much discussion on who we are presenting to and what we want them to do with this.

Getting the Quiz to the Kids

 There is a internet filter at the school that doesn’t let the Coalition site come up at school.  Maria and Jody talked about doing it on paper.  Alida asks what are we going to do with the potential information?  Is it useful to us?

 It is discussed that the quiz could be good just to get us into the door better at the school and to get a channel of information into the schools.  It was also decided to just bring in the quiz in paper form.

 The quiz will also go to Mrs. Reents and the high school kids.

 We need to give a report and recommendations to the Council.

 Maria and Alida -- Get together at the first part of next week to polish the presentation.

 Maria -- Go to Mrs. Segura about having the mid-school kids take the paper teen pregnancy quiz and how it would be best to do this.
