Logan and San Jon went very well. It stimulated much discussion among board members and teachers that attended. We expect a big impact in the schools and greater referrals, which will lead to an ultimate decline in both referrals and usage. Nathan explains what we are doing to MGyouth. MGyouth reports that substance use is prevalent in the high school. There is hardly anything to do and the kids turn to drugs. We are all pleased about having young people here. Things are really starting to happen. Some discussion on the Training that is happening in Santa Rosa. Phil reports on the 2002 Household Survey and its implications on Substance use. If kids can avoid tobacco, they are more likely not to use other substances. Phil also told the group about a new method to break habits. Put ice cubes on the bone behind your ears.
