Title: Sum-up Spain Subject: Publisher: Description: Just a little FYI Contributors: Effective_date: None Expiration_date: 9998-12-31 00:00:00 Type: Document Format: text/plain Language: Rights: SafetyBelt: 1069689744.97 As you might know, the Spainards were a great asset to the U.S. Without them, New Mexico wouldn't be New Mexico, Arizona wouldn't be Arizona, Texas wouldn't be Texas, and California - I guess you get the idea. But you see, without Spain, Christopher Columbus wouldn't have come here in the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Mariah. Lots of good things happened because Spain was there, but so did a lot of bad things. For instance, the Native Americans (I have refrained from calling them Indians) were enslaved by Spanish Conquis-oh, forget it. But I can't say the British were much better. Now, I'm not putting people down, but it's the simple truth. People from Spain, like Coronado, were being way too greedy. Gold is just a yellow rock for crying out loud. But if you want the truth, the world is the way it is, because of evil people. And I'm not saying that this is a good thing, but life is a bit more exciting with power-hungry, evil-seeking slobs.
