And I've found out a bunch of cool, fascinating, and intersting things about modern culture in Spain, such as food, drink, dress, and so forth. Here's the scoop." Eating out in Spain is really quite cheap*, and the best, almost free thing you can eat are Tapas. Tapas are a great way to sample (and eat) the tastes of Spain. And no, Spain isn't anything like Mexico, although Mexico did adopt many things from Spain. So you wont be eating any tacos if you visit there. Tapas are usually found in bars, but are also given out by street vendors. Spain is a wine drinking country. But don't worry kids, they've got plenty of grape juice. They also have sherry, beer, and plenty of water. Shayna: "That never hurts" Fiesta! Most people don't know what this means, but it means 'celebration'. Fiestas usually take place on birthdays, Christmas, All Saints Day, Easter, you name it. If it's somthing to celebrate, have a fiesta! Spain is most alive at night. And if your thinking bars, drunk, and gangs, you're wrong. Spain is acctually a very friendly country, when you don't make them angry. At night, the theaters open, men and women go for walks, and the youth centers open. Night is also a great time for fiestas. Dress is somthing Spain is REAL good at. If you were in spain right now, you'd see the boys showing off to the girls. The boys wear most of the designer stuff, and get this, the girls are really quite happy with denim. That's right, the BOYS wear skin-tight clothing, and the GIRLS, well, lets just say Spain is a great place and be done with it. "So there you have it. The great culture of Spain. This is Shayna Nemrow. Later days"
