These people were primitive, but intelligent. They had leaders, and other important figures to look up to. They all lived in seperate villages, each with thier own Tribal Cheiftan. Yes, they got into fights that were resolved by a battle. Normally, when the Chieftan died, his son would take over the clan. If the Chieftan had only daughters, the Chieftan would adopt an orphan, slave, or just take a baby boy from it's parents to be the next Cheif. The daughters were more or less sold to other villages to keep the peace. But only a Cheiftans daughter could be sold, otherwise, they would kill the girl, and wage war. So these people were very particular about this. They had priests, of course, and they looked to the sky-god for inspriation and prayer. They followed a religon similar to Japanese Shinto. (I personally belive Mongolia, Japan, and China to be the some of the Lost Tribes of Israel, as the Mongolian priests carry an altar, bearing the lastest FYI from Sky Guy. Whereas Japanese carry somthing similar, and they both look and sound a great deal like the Ark of Covanant.) The first King they ever had was a man called Ghengis Khan, who was a Chieftan's son. If he had not been, he would probably have been assasinated at the first sign that he wanted to unite the clans, so as to form an empire. The Mongolians didn't know how to fight, but they did know that if they didn't join the empire, people such as the Chinese and Tartars would eventually rule over them. So they fought, and found happiness under Ghengis Khans rule. But this didn't last long. When Ghengis died, his son gave up Mongolia to China. After the second Khan abandond them, they were ruled by China until 1921. Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Time fly by! Their constitution was written and they were free. Only one problem remained. They didn't know how to run thier own country. And being in between two great Empires doesn't really help them either. So now, in 2003, Mongolia is thier own people. And that's the way they want it.
