 Of course, to the 'dang Americans', Kenya is simply where the zebra and the antelope play. W-R-O-N-G! As with every state, country, nation, or people, there is a certain CULTURE. No two cultures are alike. So here we go.


 GENERAL MOOD: Very friendly, smile a lot. (The Department of Culture guy had a bad color scheme, though.) The only downside to this place is that they can't stop killing those poor zebras.

 SAYINGS: Of course, every nation needs a saying or two. 'Stretch hide while it is still green' is equal to the English 'Strike while the iron is hot'. 'The face of the fish, does not change by the pickle'= 'It's like talking to a post'. 'He who is naked squats low'= ??????!

 Okay, so that probably wasn't needed.

 
 FOOD: Okay, for those of you who have not read the book ZINK (Cherie Bennet) here's a lesson on FOOD. Ugali, is really a cornish oatmealish soupish thing. It tastes pretty good though. Puliu, is a simple beef stew. AND NOT THE CANNED KIND. Real beef, real broth, real rice. Plaintains is more like a breakfast, as it's made with coconut milk.

 So there you have it. Pretty nice, huh?
