Title: Really cool books you oughta read...... Subject: Publisher: Description: Like fantasy? Science fiction? Non-fiction? Here's the coolest picks this year....so far. Contributors: Effective_date: None Expiration_date: 9998-12-31 00:00:00 Type: Document Format: text/plain Language: Rights: SafetyBelt: 1097504105.46 Really, I wish my stories (Shapeshifters) were on this list, but this is for more or less the other books that are already on paper. This section is divided into four sections, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Non-Fiction, and Fiction....you can imagine how much is in fantasy. FANTASY HARRY POTTER: Oh yeah, you gotta have this one first thing. Some of you...your parents might think its the devils work and all that. It does get a little pumped at times, but for the most part, it's actually quite cool. Should I tell about it? Like every other kid in the world doesn't know what Harry Potter is. Really, you should read 'em, or let you parents read 'em first if thier worried about it. (Really, I think they've read worse in thier lifetime.) LORD OF THE RINGS: These are gonna take a while. Actually, I recommend read The Hobbit first. No matter what people say, these books are for kids. The epic journeys of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins....yeee-haw! The movies left a bunch out, even though the books do kind of get egdy, around the second and third books. The battles are something fierce though. I would recommend watching the movies first, belive it or not, I think the movies are kind of low profile compared to the books. INKHEART: Some of you are saying....what is Inkheart? I've only just started reading it, of course, but so far, it is pretty good. I wont completely ruin the story for you, but it has to do with a guy who reads things right out of books. A good read, would make a good movie. ARTEMIS FOWL: Whoa, now we're getting into it. Artemis Fowl is a twelve year old criminal mastermind, set on getting gold away from the fairies. Now, when you think of these fairies, imagine Men in Black, with a magical twist. This is awesome stuff. There are three books in the sieries, and each one is awesome rip-roaring fun. Mirimax is making the Artemis Fowl movie, to start shooting this summer. HIS DARK MATIERIALS: Okie-dokie, this should be for older kids and adults, juat to understand it. these books have got some weird ideas, and I think it'd make a kick-butt movie. It's the story of Lyra Silvertounge, and her journey to find the mystirious Dust, with her Daemon, Pantelimon. What is a daemon? Read the books. They're entiltled The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. Did your parents think Harry Potter was bad? Prescribe these books. LOST YEARS OF MERLIN: By Dagda, the best Merlin books there are...ever wonder what Merlin was like as a kid? How did he gain his powers? Who was his first girlfriend? A collection of five stories by T.A. Barron, MUST READS!!! SCIENCE FICTION H.G WELLS COLLECTION: Sure, there's the Martian book, but did you know that he wrote a whole bunch of books about Mars? No kidding. I was up in the mountains with my Dad and we took a copy. Loved 'em! MY TEACHER IS AN ALIEN STORIES: For younger kids, but fun for the old ones, too. STAR WARS JEDI APPRENTICE: A series of stopries about Obi-Wan as a Padawan, and some about Anakin too! STAR TREK: I've selected some, and the best ones I think are written by William Shatner, yeah, he plays Jim Kirk. The two best are The Return, Ashes of Eden, and Avenger. NON FICTION ... FICTION JUNIE B. JONES: Oh, guy, she'll have you in stiches! Written for kids, but completely adorable! SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS: Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are being followed by Count Olaf, a horrible villian. Must Read. JACK LONDON: Oh yeah, the best of the best!
