** About QuIX **

I made my decision about serving web pages.  I have redirected
all HTTP traffic to pygopherd and we are now back to just the
Gopher server serving HTTP content.  I will be taking Zope off
the server to allow more room for content.

I found the PC-Blue collection and will be adding it to QuIX 
today.  I was copying over the old Simtel DOS archive, since I
expect it to disappear someday and I always enjoyed it.

Also, I changed the name of this log to Gophlog, since Phlog
(which I had seen other gopher wranglers using) is actually a
log produced by a phone!  I added it to the Wiktionary so that
it can start being used in common parlance.

Oh, I had been working on putting peercast on the QuIX server,
but I decided that very few people use peercast and that what
I have is mostly written anyway.  If I want to put audio out
there, it would be much better to just put up mp3s and call it
a "podcast".

** About the World **

After all this time trying to reconcile my feelings about the
victims of Hurricane Katrina, I will see how it goes with Rita,
the next very-large hurricane.  Is this a sign of things to come?
