This software has been tested with the DEC C compiler.  It is believed  to
substantially perform correctly using the VAX C compiler.  It has been  tested
with one or more versions of TGV Multinet, Wollongong, and UCX as  TCP/IP
transports.  Not all capabilities are available to all combinations  of
compiler, operating system, and TCP/IP.
