There are reasons to eat purely from every viewpoint: Economical -Refined sugar and refined flour are pointless and expensive to create; the sugar found in fruits and vegetables should be quite sufficient. -Meat has an average yield of about 15 to 1; That means that it takes 1.3 pounds of grain to produce a single ounce of bacon. You could survive for about the same length of time on bacon as on grain; grain costs 15 times less to produce, not counting labor and killing the animal. -Eggs have no economical downside, except that they break easily and are hard to find in good quality. -Vegetables, berries, nuts, pulse crops, grains and fruits contain more nutritional substances than meat, since they haven't been used up on feeding an animal that was just going to be killed anyway. -Milk is also cheap, but water is cheaper and has less useless crap in it and, hopefully for you, is better-filtered. Also milk usually has a quick expiry date and quality is not assured. If you don't agree, please MOO-mail me or come chat with me if I'm logged on. I am happy to respond to any misunderstandings you may have. ...as long as you don't present them in an irrational, offensive fashion. ("Meat is the best! Water sucks! You're a [insert random swear words here]") .
