Not to be confused with the popular 'sword with a trigger on the handle for power ups' method of the Final Fantasy universe, Kaneda's sword of choice is a small broad blade about two feet in length,  6 inches in depth, with a pistol hidden in the sword hilt.  A thumbpad on the hilt lets Kaneda switch between an armorment of armour piercing shells, teleport transponders, and silly string.
