This is a modern-looking room full of gadgetry, consoles, and blinking lights. There is a large observation window that encircles the entire room, allowing you to look out and see where you are. The sight outside the window is breathtaking. You are not just above Castle Baron, you are above the metal plate that Baron sits under. In fact, you are a good distance above the metal plate, overlooking it. The plate supports a cannon of immense proportions. The barrel is almost twice as long as the plate is wide, and a variety of machinery is attached to the sides and rear of the barrel. A mass of hoses spring from one of the machines and snake across the cannon to pipe directly into the barrel in various places. The hoses are translucent and huge. The amount of fuel they would carry is mind boggling; just the counter-balances for the fuel valves are larger than the great oak doors that defend the main gate of the castle. There is the movement of people around the cannon but they are too small to discern what they may be doing. There are two hatches in the floor of the room. One leads to the stairwell that will take you 'out' to the throne room, and the other seems to be a ladder that leads 'down' to the floor on the plate itself. .
