The CICNet electronic serials archive can be thought of as a (very large) brown back with electronic serials in it. Some folks would call then zines, or journals, but we call them serials because of our library bent. The serials are not very well laid out they're all laid out underneath an A-Z alphabetical structure. But there's lots of stuff here. Around 750 serials as of August 1993, more than 350 megabytes of stuff. (As George Carlin might say, that's a lot of stuff!) Browsing is a blast, though. It seems to be popular enough; as of July 93 it was getting around around 130,000 queries a month. -- Paul Holbrook (who works for CICNet, so he can be forgiven a bias) 8/25/93 .
