PATRICIA A. BLACKMON,A.J.:
     Harold Price, petitioner, filed an  "Application For Writting
(sic) of Habeas Corpus 'Instanter'" for permission to  submit   a
writing of  habeas corpus against  the Cuyahoga  County Court  of
Common Pleas.  Petitioner captioned his document "State of Ohio v.
Harold Price,"  named no respondent,  and attached no  commitment
papers.  Petitioner has woefully failed to comply with Loc.App.R.
8 or any  of the statutes  governing the pursuance  of a writ  of
habeas corpus.  See R.C. 2725. et seq.; Bloss v. Rogers (1992), 65
Ohio St.3d 145, 602 N.E.2d 602; State v. Lawrence (Sep. 25, 1997),
Cuyahoga App.  No. 73112,  unreported.   Petitioner's request  is
denied, and the prosecutor's Motion to Dismiss is granted.
     Case dismissed.  Costs to petitioner.
