     On January 12, 1998, Anthony Dames, relator, commenced  this
action to  compel respondent, Judge  Carl Character,  to rule  on
relator's Motion to Harmonize/Modify Sentence to Conform with S.B.
2 filed October 1, 1997.  Respondent filed a Motion to Dismiss or,
in the  Alternative, Motion for  Summary Judgment.   Attached  as
Exhibit "A" to respondent's motion is a journal entry demonstrating
that the trial court denied relator's Motion to Harmonize in C.P.
Case  No. CR-319190 on  January 20, 1998.   The requested  relief
having been performed, this action is now moot.
     Case dismissed.  Costs to respondent.
