Lilly, seeks a writ of mandamus in order to compel the respondent, Judge Daniel O. Corrigan, to render a ruling a ruling with regard to a motion to withdraw guilty plea, Criminal Rule 32.1 with accompanying memorandum, sworn affidavit and exhibits as filed in the underlying case of State v. Lilly, Cuyahoga Common Pleas Case No. CR-52754. The respondent has filed a motion for summary judgment. Attached to the respondent's motion for summary judgment is a copy of a judgment entry, as journalized on December 17, 1997, which demonstrates disposition of the relator's motion to withdraw plea of guilty. Thus, the relator's complaint for a writ of mandamus is moot. State ex rel. v. Coleman (1983), 6 Ohio St.3d 5; State ex rel. Jerningham v. Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas (1996), 74 Ohio St.3d 278. Accordingly, we grant the respondent's motion to dismiss. Costs to respondent. Writ denied. JAMES M. PORTER, J., CONCURS .
