     Respondent's Motion  for Summary  Judgment is  granted.   On
January 14, 1997, as evidenced by Exhibit A attached to the Motion
for Summary Judgment, respondent denied relator's Motion for Leave
to File Postconviction Relief.  Relator has made no showing of any
duty of respondent to issue findings of fact and conclusions of law
following the denial of a motion for leave to file a petition for
postconviction relief.
     Judgment for respondent.  Costs to relator.
