SWEENEY, C.J.: The relator, Scottie Harrison, commenced this mandamus action to pel the respondent, the Adult Parole Authority, to release him from son because it had improperly calculated his prison time and ause it had unreasonably delayed in commencing a final parole ocation hearing. On March 14, 1997, the respondent filed a motion dismiss, which this court considers a motion for summary judgment suant to Civ. R. 12(B). The gravamen of this dispositive motion is t the case is moot because Mr. Harrison has fully served the prison tences at issue and has been released from prison. Attached to dispositive motion is a certified copy of Mr. Harrison's piration of Sentence", which states that on February 23, 1997, ttie Harrison had served the maximum sentence for the offenses for ch had been convicted. This record specifies Case Nos. CR-333810, 239514 and CR-245086, the cases at issue in the writ. Furthermore, Harrison signed the "Expiration of Sentence" as his acknowledgment t he had received the record. Accordingly, this mandamus action is t; Mr. Harrison has received the requested relief, his release from son.
