Even thought the Yaesu VX-7R can pick up the HF band transmissions in AM mode and there are some transmissions done in AM mode. http://www.qsl.net/n8imo/wefax.html gives you a listing of the frequencies at 137 MHz and where to get the software to convert it for the computer. However, as mentioned at that web site, I don't believe you are going to be able to use the factory antenna to do it. You'll probably have to "upgrade" to a much more effecient antenna.
