I  think you should look at the Arrow 2m Portable antennas.    They have a 3
element and a 4 element antenna that disassembles, and is made for
traveling. You can even purchase a travelling bag from them for the antenna
!!


You should be able to mount one of these outside a window, or on a camera
tripod.
