And, as a matter of fact, even if you use the old Muriatic acid, and lead bar soldier, should work fine!! The new "plumber's soldier is used for low toxcisity (no lead) to avoid poisoning someone drinking drinking from the tap! Any difference in conductivity will be neglegeable.
