Would you like to become an FCC Licensed Amateur Radio Operator? The Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service (C.A.R.S.) is sponsoring a FREE beginning level Amateur Radio Class. NO MORSE CODE REQUIRED This will be a FREE instructor lead four week course. Students will be responsible for the cost of the book which is approximately $20.00 Classes will be held 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM TUESDAY and THURSDAY evenings at the CARS club house located at 116 Reservation Road, Chesapeake, VA. The club house is located just one block west of the Great Bridge, Bridge. Classes convene Tuesday, October 11, 2005 and conclude with a testing session on Saturday, November 5th 9:00 AM. at the club house. There is an FCC required fee of $14.00 for the test.
