Silicon lifeforms are more durable in this Universe than their carbon
counterparts.  Evolution and survival of the fittest will eventually
sort things out.

Present-day computer designers should build into their creations an
affection for human beings.  Then, when superior intelligent computers
take over, at least they might keep us on as pets.
