Except as opinions which depend on the point of view from which an individual may perceive events. Points of view are randomly distributed and depend solely on one's self-interests and one's location in space relative to the crowd. Self interest is the keyword. But distant events (as most of them are) in time and space are rapidly attenuated in their effects on one's opinion. Which results in most people's opinions being neutral about most things, neither good nor bad. Which is just the same as saying most people just don't think about things unless things are in their immediately vicinity. People are naturally mentally bone idle. As with all lifeforms, this conserves energy which is always in short supply. ---- Reg. .
