In the modern star trek series, we have two good shows & two bad shows:
GOOD = next generation & deep space nine 
BAD = voyager & enterprise 
What is the common denominator that links the bad shows together??? 
- Brannan Braga was the show-runner for both 
 
Also of note: Enterprise suddenly became as good as TNG or DS9, during
Season 4, thanks to its well-developed trilogies. What changed? 
- Brannan Braga removed as show-runner. 
 
So I place all the blame on the bad scripts on Braga.
