I think somehow they must have been impressed they were getting a Star Trek
producer and hadn't actually SEEN what he'd done yet; nor was it likely the
stories had gotten out how it was he personally that had done it, and on
purpose.

His resume isn't that bad if you just glance at it, until you realize he was
not doing the good parts.
