Really?  Huh, I guess I misremembered - I always just assuemed that the
Remans were supposed to be the classic - "offshoots mutated by living
underground in the dark" and were supposed to be a subspecies of
Romulans ala the Morlocks...

Strange when the mind plays tricks like that...
