Serenity (Firefly) is great. Ensemble cast, all have good balance in the role they play in the story. No real star that requires a custom fitting plot to over-hype the character they are playing. Where the character is important, not excessive screen time of the face of the actor playing the character. Unfortunately, in the movies: The Star in Star Trek refers more to selling the top star(s) then to travelling through space .
